Not all VS-XX disks (centers) are the same. A 17x8 +22 sounds like it would work, but looking at how much lip is hanging off that thing, the center is probably not a "high disk," that would need to be used for accommodating bigger brakes (Z32, JZA80 TT, etc). What kind of car did these come off? Judging by the attention whore color, probably an S2000. If you want to make it right, instead of running a spacer, you should rebuild the fronts, using a smaller lip, properly sized disk, and wider barrel, bringing those low offset 17x8s up to a more useful 9".
